Young Libertarians of Middle Tennessee

Thank you for visiting the Young Libertarians Middle Tennessee. Young Libertarians of Middle Tennessee is an organization, within the Libertarian Party of Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County, of Young Libertarian Activists.

We work to provide a network for Young Libertarians in Middle Tennessee and to inform the young people of Middle Tennessee about Libertarian ideas and the Libertarian Party.

Mission Statement

As Young Libertarians connect young people in Middle Tennessee with the Libertarian Party. We also encourage young people to become more active in the Libertarian Party.

Through activism and outreach we find free-thinking young people in Middle Tennessee and introduce them to the Libertarian Party.

By being active within the Libertarian Party, we work to keep the party active in promotong the issues and ideals that are important to the young people of Middle Tennessee.

And we work with the Libertarian Party to protect our individual freedoms and demand the equal Rights enumerated in the Constitution for the united States of America.

Purpose Statement

We encourage and support libertarian and Libertarian Party activists by:

- Operating an active chapter of Young Libertarians in the Middle Tennessee
- Developing resources for activists, and
- Providing a positive environment in which to interact and share with each other.
- Start, encourage, and help Libertarian groups on High School and College campuses throughout Middle Tennessee.

If you would like to start a Libertarian group at your school please contact Dr. Jim Lark, national campus coordinator for the Libertarian Party. If you know of an active campus Libertarian Organization in Middle Tennessee please let us know, so we can include your information on this page.

We advocate libertarian ideals by:

- Engaging in efforts and activities that teach and exemplify libertarianism
- Promoting the Libertarian Party and its candidates, and
- Acting as a Young Libertarian's caucus within the Libertarian Party.
- Generate interest in Libertarian issues from a young Libertarian perspective
- Plan opportunities for Young Libertarians to meet each other
- Identify leaders who can move the causes of young Libertarians forward within the Libertarian Party

Our outreach is to all young supporters of liberty.

Our membership reach is to young libertarian and LP activists and supporters who subscribe to our Mission & Purpose.

The primary result of our efforts will be more Young Libertarian Voters, Activists, and Supporters.
