Daniel Lewis (left) - Chair - holds a B.S. degree in General Science and a M.Ed. degree in Secondary Earth Science Education. Daniel currently teaches at a Christian School for special needs children. Daniel Lewis has been active in politics for over twenty years, and spent most of that time working with the Libertarian Party. In 2002 Daniel was among the Libertarian activists who helped to reestablish the Hamilton County Libertarian Party in Chattanooga Tennessee. Subsequently he served as secretary of the Hamilton County Libertarian Party for a number of years. Upon moving to Nashville in 2006 he began the task of reestablishing a Libertarian Party affiliate in Davidson County. The Chair leads the party in developing a party stance on issues and manages political and campaign affairs, which includes monitoring government activity and political campaigns. Lisa Leeds (right) - Vice-Chair is a college graduate. Lisa works with computers, A&R, and PR. Lisa has had many years experience working in politics and with political campaigns. Lisa has a keen sense of networking and the practical aspects of political activism. Lisa was one of the Libertarian activists involved in reestablishing a Libertarian affiliate in Davidson County. The Vice Chair directs Public Relations for the party. The Vice Chair also coordinates the parties outreach activities, including youth out reach (college and high school) and organizing party events. Additionally the Vice Chair also coordinates media relations for the party, which includes management of the parties press office and media watch efforts.  Scott Williamson - Secretary/Treasure Scott Williamson is a graduate of Lipscomb University where he earned a BA in Political Science. Scott has taught both Middle School and High School social studies at a private school. Currently Scott works at an historic site as the Lead Educator. Involved in politics from an early age, having worked on campaigns ranging from school board to Governor, Scott has done everything from grass roots campaigning to running a campaign. Scott is the current Chair of Outright Libertarians of Metro Nashville. The Secretary/ Treasurer oversees the parties membership activities and manages the parties membership database. The Secretary/ Treasurer functions as liaison to neighboring LP affiliates and directs party fundraising |
